not so much...

i know, i know, i know...haven't updated in a while. work has been absolutely out of control. we're in the middle of this huge system upgrade. i thought it would be so much fun to get out of the office to train for it...not so much. it could be the single most overwhelming event of my life. so i have been sitting in front of a computer screen for entirely too much time lately...hence, my updates, or lack thereof. anyway, had some friends come in to visit this past weekend from orlando and that was a ton of fun. lots of driving, going out, horseback riding...it was a blast. so that's about all for now...i promise to be a bit more diligent about this blog, as i have received some nasty comments about not updating. i'm on it. oh and by the way, nickole...marty mcfly called and he wants his car back.

snur flurries

The past 3 days it has snowed here in Vail...I'm not just talking flurries. I'm talking a couple of inches on my car when I wake up every morning. It's April 30 and suposed to snow everyday for the next week. Yep, the word just came in and I'm officially trapped in a snow globe.

...and you thought i wouldn't update

the drama...the drama of 5 girls living in one house has been quite overwhelming. I didn't really understand the magnitude of all that comes with my current living situation upon entering in to my lease. For those of you that aren't familiar with my current living situation, I live with 5 girls in a 4 bedroom house (technically 3 with an extra living room converted into a bedroom, yes that would be my room without a door). Location wise...it's amazing, we live on the Eagle-Vail golf course and especially in the summer it is so nice. We've been here almost a year, but it seems now that our lease is up and we will have to move. I'm only moving 2 blocks down the street, but can I just tell you how much I hate moving. I really believe that in hell you have to move the devil's furniture from one place to the next for all eternity. Anyway...life is good here and Patty Griffin is playing at the Folk Festival in Lyons, CO on August 20...see you there.

Blame it on Flonessa.

So, I have been contemplating starting a blog for a while. For a few reasons. One: It's hard keeping in touch 1,756 miles away from Birmingham. Two: I've always admired Doogie. Three: Torry and Matt Graham have one...enough said. So last night at my house, my roommate Vanessa (also lovingly referred to as "Flonessa") talked me into starting one. So if for some reason you are rolling your eyes at me right now (which I know some of you are, Steph). Blame it on Flonessa. I will try to keep this updated...as update worthy events happen in my life.
